As a retired history teacher and lifelong storyteller, Louise McAllister writes historical fiction from the fringes. Her work illuminates overlooked lives, difficult choices, and extraordinary moments in history.
Born in South Africa, she has called Texas home for more than 26 years, where she lives with her husband, Chris, her daughter, Lillian, two playful dogs, and two highly opinionated cats.
